Enjoy the Blueberry BBQ sauce from our pulled pork sliders on your favorite BBQ.
  • 1 tbsp Canola oil
  • 1 red onion diced
  • 2 clove garlic minced
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1lb frozen blueberries
  • 1C Ketchup
  • ½ C Brown Sugar
  • ¾ C apple cider vinegar
  • ½ C bourbon
  • 2 Tbsp black strap molasses
  • 2 Bay leaves
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Saute onion in oil until translucent, add garlic, jalapeno and red pepper flakes and saute another couple of minutes. 
  2. Add blueberries and salt and cook until blueberries start giving up their juice, stirring occasionally. 
  3. Add all other ingredients, bring to a boil then drop to a simmer and stir occasionally for 45 minutes. 
  4. Remove bay leaves, blend thoroughly, strain and serve.
